We cringe at the thought of having to administer the drug in either form, whether as an injection or as a suppository. The first form must be injected directly into the penis, which may be painful and disturbing to even think about. The suppository, on the other hand, must be placed into the opening of the penis, or the urethra, which may also cause discomfort.
We note that the drug is believed to have a number of possible side effects, including some of the following: penis and testicle-area pain; bleeding from the penis or spotting; dizziness, headaches, flu symptoms and palpitations; fainting, unsteadiness resulting from low blood pressure; and vaginal itching or burning for the female sexual partner.
